Reading books over the summer is not only relaxing and fun, but it helps maintain (and even grow) crucial reading skills. 

 

Sora is an ebook and audiobook service available to RIMSD41 staff and students through a partnership with the Rock Island Public Library. Staff and students may set up a free account with their school Google credentials and have access to a huge collection of popular age-appropriate audiobooks and ebooks.

 

Books may be checked out for up to two weeks until they are returned automatically. Because Sora is a digital library, some books may be checked out to other patrons. These books may be put on hold, and patrons will be alerted via school email when the book is available. Download the Sora app, or visit the website.
