RIMSD welcomes new leadership for 2024-25 School Year

The Rock Island-Milan School District will start the 2024-2025 school year with some new and familiar faces in leadership roles.
 
 
Jennifer Harris, Principal of Earl Hanson Elementary School
Mrs. Harris brings 10 years of classroom teaching experience, two of those years were within the RIMSD #41. She has also served as an Associate Principal in another district for three years.

Anthony Ragona, Principal of Thurgood Marshall Learning Center
Mr. Ragona comes to RIMSD with 10 years of educational leadership experience, having served as a Dean of Students and Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at another school district.

Andy Campbell, Principal of Eugene Field Elementary School
Mr. Campbell has 27 years of teaching experience and three years of Dean of Students experience at Rock Island High School. Mr. Campbell has an extensive background in education, relationship-building skills, and administrative experience.

Jadiem Wilson, Principal of Ridgewood Elementary School
Mr. Wilson has been with the district since 2009 and has had several roles, including science teacher at Edison Jr. High School, Dean of Students at Rock Island High School, and Assistant Principal at Rock Island Academy for 8 years.

Sarah Leonard, Principal of Longfellow Liberal Arts
Mrs. Leonard has 16 years of education experience, including principal, dean, and teacher. She has spent the last five years in the RIMSD as Principal of Earl Hanson Elementary School.

Joey Dilulio, Principal of Edison Jr. High School
Mr. Dilulio has been with the district since 2006. His roles have included Dean of Students at Washington Jr. High School and Principal at Ridgewood Elementary School.

Dr. Sharon Williams, Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Williams is an experienced educator with 24 + years of experience as a teacher, principal, executive director, project director, executive coach, chief academic officer, chief of schools, and deputy superintendent. She has served school districts in urban, rural, and suburban areas and has worked in the non-profit sector. You can read more about Dr. Williams here.

Jeffrey Dase, Deputy Superintendent of Schools
Mr. Dase is an accomplished educational leader with over two decades of experience in the Chicago and Decatur public school systems. As the Deputy Superintendent of Schools, he brings 14 years of expertise in building administration and eight years of central administration experience. This position is brand new to the school district. The key role of this position will be to support school leaders, and to support continuous improvement efforts.

Scott Vance, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning
Mr. Vance has over two decades of educational experience, including 10 years as a Superintendent of Schools. He has extensive experience in teaching and learning, as well as school and district leadership.
